Social Firms Australia (SoFA) and its partners are committed to the development of a social firm sector in Australia.

This is achieved by:

  • identifying opportunities to create successful social firms.
  • partnering with a range of organisations and individuals who share SoFA’s vision and values, and who bring specific skills, experience and networks.
  • adapting SFUK’s Accelerator Program to facilitate the set up of best practice social firms.
  • continuing to research and evaluate the model.
  • documenting the processes involved in establishing and operating social firms.
  • developing a state and national network of social firms.
  • initiating and developing new and effective approaches to employment support.
